Skills Canada Manitoba, the Certified Technologists and Technicians Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) and Red River College, hosted the 6th Annual Model Wind Turbine Competition at Red River College on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 as part of National Trades and Technology Week.
Given a specific set of materials to work with, approximately 50 students from around the province used their skills and ingenuity to design and construct a working model wind turbine.
