Extreme Sledding Competition Results

Skills Canada Manitoba, and Winnipeg Technical College hosted the Annual Extreme Sledding Competition at Winnipeg Technical College on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.
Thirty-six, Grades 7 – 9 students from across Manitoba spent the morning constructing a human drawn sled with cardboard, 2 x 4’s and duct tape. The students then braved the elements to race their sled around a course.

Dawson Trail School – “The Seine River Sledders”

Best Design Award
Steinbach Jr. High School – “The Cheeseburger Knights”

Best Time Award
Westdale School – “The PS Team”
