Skills Canada Manitoba, the Certified Technologists and Technicians Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) and Red River College Polytech, hosted the 17th Annual Model Wind Turbine Competition at Red River College on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Given a specific set of materials to work with, approximately 40, Grades 9 and 10 students from around the province used their skills and ingenuity to design and construct a working model wind turbine.

Results from the day are as follows:
