Skills Canada Manitoba is a not-for-profit charitable organization that works with youth, parents, communities, industry and government to increase awareness of the rewarding careers available in skilled trades and technologies.  We are now accepting applications for a Program and Event Assistant.

Program and Event Assistant

The successful candidate must be comfortable working with youth in a school and college setting. The candidate will assist in planning and delivering Trades Awareness Programs within both rural Manitoba and the city of Winnipeg

The ideal candidate will require:

  • High energy.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage groups of youth and a good problem solver
  • Part Time Position – 20 hours per week;
  • Post-secondary education an asset
