Skills Canada Manitoba, the Certified Technologists and Technicians Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) and Red River College, hosted the 13th Annual Model Wind Turbine Competition at Red River College on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 as part of National Trades and Technology Week.
Given a specific set of materials to work with, approximately 45, Grades 9 and 10 students from around the province used their skills and ingenuity to design and construct a working model wind turbine.
