Extreme Sledding Competition 2015 Results

Skills Canada Manitoba, and the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology hosted the Annual Extreme Sledding Competition at MITT on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.

Fifty, Grade 7 – 9 students from across Manitoba spent the morning constructing a human drawn sled with cardboard, 2 x 4’s and duct tape.  The students then braved the elements on a very cold day to race their sled around a course.

Results from the day are as follows:

Great jobs...Great future!

“I’ve always loved to take things apart to see how they work. With my education and Skills Manitoba experience, I now have a job where I get to design the kinds of things I used to take apart!”
