Skills Canada Manitoba, the Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) and Red River College, hosted the 8th Annual Model Wind Turbine Competition at Red River College on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 as part of National Trades and Technology Week.
Given a specific set of materials to work with, approximately 60 students from around the province used their skills and ingenuity to design and construct a working model wind turbine.
