Skills Canada Manitoba, the Certified Technologists and Technicians Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) and Red River College, hosted the 5th Annual Model Wind Turbine Competition at Red River College on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 as part of National Technology Week.
Given a specific set of materials to work with, approximately 56 students from around the province used their skills and ingenuity to design and construct a working model wind turbine.
